So I have thought long and hard about what my very first blog post would be, and while there are many different things that I could have written about in the world of Tabletop gaming, I feel something more personal is in order.

Hello. My name is Allen Jones. I love tabletop gaming ever since my father Ellis Jones taught me to play the game of chess when I was 5 years old. I have been to many chess tournaments in my youth and then the most amazing thing happened: Magic the Gathering was released. Showing my age I was there at the beginning, and I remember asking my mother Ann Godfrey for starter boxes for a birthday present or Christmas gift. This blossomed further with other card games, and then led into board gaming and Dungeons and Dragons RPG. Needless to say I love playing games and even more when I get to compete in them.

Team Hisshou was an extension of 2 ideas working together to form a Voltron of an idea! Publishing web content to further what players are able to see and experience within the gaming community while also competing in the games under the same brand name moniker to complement each other! Sarrah Parsons, a dear friend of mine, and a fellow graduate at MTSU in the Japanese language department designed this logo for us to use. Kevin, her fiance and another dear friend helped with the name: Hisshou. It is Japanese for Certain Victory, which is the code our team ad web content developers live by. We love tabletop gaming and are certain that our passion and drive will bring us victory in our endeavors.

But what is the end goal? Well, we hope that by producing amazing content and being a force in the competitive tabletop scene, we will be able to leverage our success and hard work into starting a local gaming store. With the store we will be able to develope our local community and galvanize them to share our mutual love of tabletop gaming with others. We will also enjoy having a place to practice and record our content while also selling some tasty eats, and maybe a couple of brews.

Well that is all I have for now, thanks for making it to the end and please support the movement if you feel so inclined.
